Precision Air was engaged to deliver a large-scale ventilation and heating solution for the Castleforbes residential development in Dublin, comprising 700 apartment units. The project involved the installation of Mechanical Ventilation with Heat Recovery (MVHR) systems and Exhaust Air Heat Pumps, forming part of the development’s energy-efficient, low-carbon design strategy.
This installation required careful planning, coordination, and execution across multiple blocks and floor levels, with all work delivered in accordance with strict construction timelines and building performance standards.
Project Delivery
Our scope included the complete first and second fix installation of MVHR systems and Exhaust Air Heat Pumps in all residential units. This involved full mechanical ductwork, ventilation connections and system integration to ensure each system met regulatory and functional requirements.
A phased delivery model allowed us to work efficiently alongside other trades, minimising disruption and ensuring timely handovers. All installations were carried out in compliance with national building regulations, ventilation standards, and energy performance targets, contributing to the overall sustainability credentials of the development.
The project was completed between 2023 and 2025. The successful execution of this large-volume residential project highlights Precision Air’s capability to deliver compliant, coordinated ventilation and heating solutions at scale—supporting high-density housing developments with precision, quality, and reliability.
